Since its founding in 1978, Lake Regional Health System has benefited from bold vision, thoughtful planning, and careful stewardship of resources. Because of community support and the generosity of countless individuals, Lake Regional now offers comprehensive health care services for area residents and visitors.

As a nonprofit hospital, Lake Regional finances expansion and new services with funds left over after expenses each year. However, revenue alone is not enough. Philanthropic gifts make new services possible that could not be financed otherwise.
